But she gets particular pleasure out of her commission work. A home is a special memory and Barb’s commissions make excellent gifts.
And then there are times Barb loves to get side-tracked into something entirely different including barn quilts. The concept of barn quilts began with Donna Sue Groves and her wish to honor her mother, Maxine, and her Appalachian heritage by having a painted quilt hung on her barn in Adams County, Ohio. Today there are barn quilt trails across Ontario and Barb has beautifully captured just a few.
